​Healthy Heights Clinic

​Welcome to Healthy Heights Clinic. These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by Healthy Heights Clinic and apply to all clients attending consultations, purchasing products, accessing telehealth services, or engaging with our practitioners.
By booking, attending, or participating in any service provided by Healthy Heights Clinic, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope of ServicesHealthy Heights Clinic provides professional complementary healthcare services including:
  • Naturopathy
  • Clinical Nutrition
  • Western Herbal Medicine
  • Homeopathy
  • Lifestyle Medicine
  • Wellness Coaching
  • Functional Health Assessment
  • Health Education and Support
Services provided by Healthy Heights Clinic are intended to support health and wellbeing and are complementary to conventional medical care.
Our practitioners do not provide emergency medical services and do not replace the role of a General Practitioner, medical specialist, or other registered healthcare provider.
Clients are encouraged to maintain an ongoing relationship with their General Practitioner and relevant healthcare professionals.

2. Client ResponsibilitiesTo ensure safe and effective care, clients agree to:
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current health information.
  • Inform their practitioner of any diagnosed medical conditions.
  • Disclose all medications, supplements, allergies, sensitivities, and relevant health concerns.
  • Advise the clinic of any changes to their health status, including pregnancy.
  • Seek immediate medical attention where symptoms require urgent or emergency care.
  • Take responsibility for decisions regarding the implementation of recommendations provided.
Healthy Heights Clinic relies upon information supplied by clients. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the safety, suitability, and effectiveness of recommendations.

3. Informed ConsentBy attending a consultation, clients acknowledge and understand that:
  • Complementary healthcare recommendations are based on the information available at the time of consultation.
  • Individual outcomes vary and cannot be guaranteed.
  • Nutritional supplements, herbal medicines, dietary modifications, and lifestyle interventions may produce varying responses between individuals.
  • Recommendations are designed to support health and wellbeing and are not intended to replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice.
Clients voluntarily consent to receiving complementary healthcare services and recommendations from Healthy Heights Clinic.

4. Consultation Fees and PaymentsConsultation fees are payable at the time of appointment unless alternative arrangements have been approved by the clinic.
Additional services may incur separate fees, including:
  • Nutritional supplements
  • Herbal medicines
  • Functional pathology testing
  • Laboratory testing
  • Educational resources
  • Third-party services
All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Healthy Heights Clinic reserves the right to amend fees and pricing without prior notice.
Outstanding accounts may result in future appointments, services, or product orders being suspended until payment is received.

5. Appointment Cancellations and Missed AppointmentsHealthy Heights Clinic values the time of both clients and practitioners.
To allow adequate scheduling and availability for other clients:
  • A minimum of 24 business hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Appointments cancelled with less than 24 business hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the consultation fee.
  • Failure to attend an appointment without notice ("No Show") may incur the full consultation fee.
  • Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require full prepayment for future bookings.
Cancellation fees are payable prior to future appointments being scheduled.

6. Telehealth ServicesTelehealth consultations are subject to the same professional, ethical, and privacy standards as face-to-face consultations.
Clients acknowledge that:
  • They are responsible for ensuring access to suitable internet, telephone, or technology services.
  • Consultation fees remain payable where technical difficulties arise from the client's equipment, internet connection, or environment.
  • While reasonable steps are taken to ensure privacy, electronic communication carries inherent security risks.

7. Pathology and Functional TestingWhere pathology, functional testing, or laboratory investigations are recommended:
  • Participation is entirely voluntary.
  • Associated costs are separate from consultation fees.
  • Results are interpreted within the scope of complementary healthcare practice.
  • Clients should discuss significant findings and medical concerns with their General Practitioner or relevant healthcare provider.
Healthy Heights Clinic does not guarantee outcomes from any testing procedure.

8. Supplements and Dispensary ProductsProducts supplied or recommended by Healthy Heights Clinic should be used strictly in accordance with practitioner instructions and product directions.
Clients agree to:
  • Inform all healthcare providers of any supplements or herbal medicines being taken.
  • Read all product information and warnings prior to use.
  • Seek professional advice if adverse reactions occur.
Product availability and pricing may vary without notice.
Healthy Heights Clinic accepts no responsibility for adverse outcomes arising from:
  • Failure to follow instructions;
  • Undisclosed medical conditions;
  • Undisclosed medications;
  • Product misuse;
  • Self-prescribing or modification of practitioner recommendations.

9. Privacy and ConfidentialityHealthy Heights Clinic is committed to protecting client privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of personal information.
Personal information is collected, stored, and managed in accordance with:
  • The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
  • Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
Information is collected for the purposes of:
  • Delivering healthcare services;
  • Maintaining clinical records;
  • Communicating regarding appointments and treatment plans;
  • Meeting legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.
Information will not be disclosed without consent unless required by law or where there is a serious threat to an individual's health or safety.

10. Communication ConsentBy engaging with Healthy Heights Clinic, clients consent to receiving communications via:
  • Email
  • SMS
  • Telephone
  • Secure electronic health systems
Communications may include:
  • Appointment reminders
  • Clinical recommendations
  • Prescriptions and dispensary information
  • Referrals
  • Invoices and receipts
  • Educational and practice-related communications
Clients may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

11. Children's ConsultationsFor clients under 18 years of age:
  • Consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
  • A parent or guardian may be required to attend consultations.
  • Practitioners will always act in the best interests of the child.

12. Clinical RecordsHealthy Heights Clinic maintains clinical records in accordance with professional, ethical, and legal requirements.
Records may be retained for the minimum periods required under Australian legislation and professional standards and may be securely destroyed thereafter.
Clients may request access to their records in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.

13. Limitation of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • Healthy Heights Clinic and its practitioners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the use of services or recommendations provided.
  • Liability is limited to the value of the consultation or service provided.
  • Nothing within these Terms and Conditions excludes rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. Amendments to Terms and ConditionsHealthy Heights Clinic reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The most current version will be published on the clinic website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
